The place itself was very clean and was represented well by the photos. Master bed was comfortable. The neighborhood wasn’t pleasant. It’s surrounded by a run down trailer park and overall not a very nice neighborhood. The tenants in the house had quite a fight in the middle of the night and the neighbors dog was barking a lot. The neighbors yard is a junk yard that looks like a rat trap. Overall just not a nice neighborhood. The fence/ metal security door wasn’t locked when we got there and we couldn’t find the key to lock it if we left. We just kept our belongings in the car until we were in for the night and could lock it from the inside but a little uneasy leaving the unit unlocked with the simple key code to get in the interior door. Quite a police presence for a good amount of time only a few blocks down. I realize that’s out of the hosts control but just added to overall feeling of the area.

We stayed with Alex and Montse for 2 separate trips. This was the first trip and everything went great. The place is just as described and they were very proactive and helpful. I would stay with them again.
