I came as a solo-female traveler (which can be scary!) and Rodolfo made me feel safe and comfortable from the get-go! He met me at my bus so I didn't have to guess where the house was and was so friendly! He also let me use the bike to get around since I didn't rent a car. At the end I needed recommendations how to get to my next location, and not only did he help me figure how to get to my next place, but he waited with me for my bus and helped with my luggage. Truly so kind! Some notes for others: It is a little more secluded which is great if you are looking to be away from tourists! That being said, on a bike it was about 15-20 minutes to the beaches (I recommend Cahuita National Park and Playa Negra). There are some bugs which is completely normal for this area. If you hate bugs, maybe don't choose an airbnb in Costa Rica haha. There is no A/C or house wifi, and signal is a bit weak, so just be prepared!! A great stay if you are looking for something private : )

April 2024 - My boyfriend and I stayed at Rodolfo's place for 1 night and it was perfect! Rodolfo made checking-in very easy and was there throughout the process. He was always responsive which was helpful when we had forgotten about the wifi. The outdoor living space/terrace really makes this place worth it. We sat out there at night just listening and unwinding. It was amazing. The location was great for us because we were able to go to Playa Negra and the main town was just a few minutes away by car. There were also some great local Sodas in the area. Also, we were able to see a howler monkey in the tree above the parking spot! What a treat!

Die Gastfreundschaft von Rodolfo war sehr angenehm. Die Unterkunft sah aus wie auf den Bildern. Wir konnten beim Frühstück viele Tiere beobachten. Wir würden das Airbnb weiter empfehlen.
