In this secluded paradise you can observe the sky full of stars and jump into the crystal blue sea directly from your bed. The place is in the nature away from all the infrastructure. And also - IT TAKES 10 MINUTES WALK BY THE GOAT PATH TO REACH THE HOUSE - BED IS ON THE LOFT, SHOWER OUTDOORS AND THE WATER IS FROM THE WELL So it is necessary for our guests to be modest and adventurous. BEFORE BOOKING PLEASE READ ALL THE DESCRIPTIONS AND THE HOUSE RULES BELOW TO MAKE SURE THE PLACE SUITS YOU. The house is decorated in the style of Provence and with Its hand made furniture gives a special warm feeling. It has air-condition and everything necessary for daily stays (2 towels per person, toilette papers, blankets, hairdryer,...). Kitchen has 2 gas burners, refrigerator with a small freezer and basic equipment like dishes, toaster, stick blender, water heater, coffee maker, basic spices, oil, vinegar, detergents, soap, candles...). Food and drinking water needs to be brought along. Bathroom is indoors with an outdoor enclosed shower no heated water. Sleeping area is on the loft (spacious and sitting height) and it might not be very comfortable for tall people or people intolerant to small places. Because of the unprotected loft stairs the place is not so suitable for little children. In front of the house is a covered space with wooden table, hammock and benches from where the stairs leads down to the sea. To the other side there is a stony terrace where you can relax and sunbath in deckchairs. There are some sea urchins at the bottom of the sea but the access to the sea is also available by stairs.

This house is a gem, perfectly located and quiet, we had beautiful holidays and Sara was an amazing host! The house is small and perfectly equipped! We loved the atmosphere: relaxing, quiet, wild 🤍
Wow We loved our stay at Sara’s home on the seafront Each morning I drank coffee, enjoyed a croissant and watched as the sunlight spread across the inlet. We came right at the start of the season so it became warmer as the day progressed so the we could relax on the decking and enjoy the warmth of the evening sunlight. We also explored the tracks and local beaches. We didn’t have a car so collecting food from the supermarket and bakery before arriving at Sara’ home is key. Loved arriving and departing by water taxi from and back to Vis to catch the Split ferry.
Excellent contact avec Sara qui nous a parfaitement conseillé sur les plages et restaurants et qui a répondu à toutes nos questions avec attention. Mais que dire de l'emplacement de la maison : les pieds dans l'eau au réveil, le hamac pour midi, un ciel très étoilé le soir, de très belles plages à Vis. Un endroit idyllique accessible par un petit chemin pittoresque. Nous avions demandé à Sara de nous réserver un véhicule à la sortie du ferry et cela nous a permis d'être autonome pour visiter les plages, aller à Vis et Komiza et achalander la maison en nourriture . Nous sommes resté une petite semaine et n'avons qu'une envie, c'est d'y retourner Nicolas et Sophie
This location is absolutely amazing! The walk to the beach and restaurant is just 5 min away. The prices in general are a bit steep in Croatia these days, and this includes this place. Everything was as described and one cannot find another spot like this so if you have the funds, go for it! We slept in the hammock outside some nights due to the heat. + preferred that to the matress at the attic. Sara is an amazing person and she helped us a lot, sent great tips throughout. Take notice, we had no cell reception but used the Wi-Fi to communicate with the world. We had a serene blast at Sara's place!
We had a wonderful time staying in Vis. It's an incredible place - made all that more special by Sara! Her apartment was everything we imagined and the location alone was worth every penny. Sara was so friendly and helpful and went above and beyond to help us, whether that was with directions somewhere or food recommendations. She even helped us with getting taxiboats to and from the apartment. Did not want to leave! A very beautiful and memorable place.

The house offers a lot of intimacy especially end or beginning of summer and is in the nature away from all the infrastructure. It takes 10 minutes walk by the goat path to reach the house. The shower is outdoors and the water is from the well. Therefore it is preferable our guests to be slightly modest and adventurous. Before booking please read all the descriptions and the house rules below to make sure the place suits you.
In high season there is more nautical tourism and more people on the island in general.
There are a few houses across the bay and one house next to your house but it is not inhabited. Some days neighbors from mainland come for a swim if they are on the island.
A path from the house leads along the sea towards the end of peninsula to the lighthouse and to the oder side towards the sandy beach with a beach-bar and a restaurant.
In the mornings and late evenings the empty sandy beach and tranquil paths along the coast are beautiful for relaxing walks.
There is no well organized summer public transport here. A mini bus goes by (from Vis to Stoncica, Rukavac, Srebrena and Stiniva bay) twice per day but a better possibility might be renting a (e)bike, car or a motorcycle.
You can also call the taxi or ask some locals to take you along when they go to town of Vis. Hitchhiking is not uncommon on the island.
Walking to the city takes about an hour or two.
