Oh my. This is an utterly wonderful house. It’s stunning. Not only is the architecture just fantastically well thought through and impressive, the location - tucked away in a valley by the most perfect riverside - is awesome. Within minutes of arriving I saw a kingfisher dart past. The river was idyllic and safe for our three children - ages 6, 9 and 10. I could sit in the hammock and read as they paddled and fished for tiny fish. I mean, come on, that’s a holiday, is it not??! The house is well equipped with loads to do. The linen on the beds is crisp and white. It was lovely. I’m missing it already.
