Beautifully renovated, single-story home with an open layout, chef's kitchen, and new heated pool with a hot tub. Located in Allandale; where you can eat, drink, and play--all in one of Central Austin's most popular family-friendly neighborhoods. Quick access to the rest of Austin: 10 min drive to downtown, 10 mins to the Domain, and 15 mins to the airport. Walkable to local restaurants and a neighborhood grocery store. Pool fence and other child safety features can be enabled at request. Our home is well-suited to host extended families or a group of friends. The spacious common areas are perfect for socializing, co-working, and/or lounging. The outdoor patio and backyard offers a peaceful oasis to relax in the sparkling pool and hot tub or under the shade of mature trees where there is an ample grassy lawn for kids to play. The pool can be heated and therefore can be used in all seasons. There are three bedrooms, two of which have ensuite bathrooms with showers. A third full bathroom in the hallway has a bathtub. The den is a sunny semi-private sitting area and has a queen sofa bed with a comfortable memory-foam mattress. The kitchen features top of line appliances and is well-stocked. For outdoor cooking, there is a gas grill on the back patio with bbq utensils. We also have a full-sized washer and dryer that is available to utilize during your stay, if desired. Note: Pool safety is of utmost importance to us! We have a professionally installed removable pool safety fence and UL 2017 compliant door alarms that can be enabled at guest request. We also have other baby items available, just ask!
Allandale is a centrally-located, family-friendly neighborhood featuring quiet streets lined with tall mature trees and updated homes from the mid-20th century.
Situated just one block from our home along Shoal Creek, is the 30-acre Beverly S. Sheffield Northwest District Park which offers sports courts, a playground, green space, a turtle pond and access to Shoal Creek hike and bike trail which ultimately leads to Lady Bird Lake.
Burnet Road, the area's main commercial strip, provides local boutiques and eclectic thrift stores for shopping and dining options ranging from creative taco joints to foodie hot spots to relaxed pubs. In addition, there are over a dozen local dining spots within walking distance such as: Tacodeli, Snarfs, Tumble22, Dip Dip Tatsuya, Juiceland, Ichiban, District Kitchen, Cabo Bobs, El Dorado, Jack Allen's Kitchen, and more.
A short drive takes you to Austin's best grocery stores: the Whole Foods HQ, foodie paradise--Central Market, a multiple HEB locations. Or just take a short walk to our favorite neighborhood grocer, Freshplus where you can find local produce, speciality items, and all your essentials.

Bikes and scooters are a great option to explore the neighborhood, especially for establishments down Burnet. There are also about a dozen dining and shopping options within walking distance.
Driving or rideshare such as Uber/Lyft are the quickest transportation options to other parts of Austin. There is also a public bus stop a few blocks away with routes downtown.
