We have just said farewell to Gandarina after a glorious week! The house and especially the grounds are stunningly beautiful and comfortable for even a big group to spend time together, but with plenty of places to be alone as well. The beach is only a 3 minute walk away, and the water is clear and calm. The pool was a wonderful source of fun and relaxation for children and adults alike. The house is particularly special if you are interested in cooking – it has the best equipped kitchen, both indoors and outdoors, that we have ever seen in a rental property. We also cannot say enough about the wonderful owners! Juan assisted us with many questions and requests before our arrival, and went out of his way to make our sure our visit was perfect in every way. We cannot wait to return for another stay in Galicia.

Gandariña es una casa espectacular! Incluso más bella que las fotos. Llegamos sin problemas (Juan nos dio las coordenadas exactas para llegar) y recibimos las llaves y un recorrido por la casa. También había una guía muy útil para la casa y las áreas cercanas (en español y en inglés). Éramos un grupo de 11 personas y nos sentimos muy cómodos en la casa, con mucho espacio para descansar, tomar una siesta, cocinar, comer, etc. Pasamos muchas tardes en el patio, disfrutando las hermosas vistas. Y la playa está a 5 minutos de la casa! La casa se siente aislada, pero también está muy cerca de la ciudad (O Grove) y de algunos restaurantes maravillosos: el equilibrio perfecto. También es fácil llegar a las ciudades cercanas más grandes (por ejemplo, Santiago, Pontevedra). Cuando regresemos a Galicia, nos aseguraremos de quedarnos aquí de nuevo! ___ Gandariña is a spectacular house! Even more beautiful than the photos. We arrived without problems (Juan gave us the exact coordinates to arrive) and we received the keys and a tour of the house. There was also a very useful guide for the house and nearby areas (in Spanish and English). We were a group of 11 people and we felt very comfortable in the house, with plenty of space to rest, take a nap, cook, eat, etc. We spent many afternoons in the courtyard, enjoying the beautiful views. And the beach is 5 minutes walk from the house! The house feels secluded, but is also very close to the city (O Grove) and some wonderful restaurants - the perfect balance. It is also easy to drive to the larger nearby cities (for example, Santiago, Pontevedra). When we return to Galicia, we will make sure to stay here again!
