This was a lovely apartment in a lovely old building, on a lovely tree-lined street. The apartment has been beautifully decorated, with many pieces gathered by James over the years and carefully cared for in that time. The bedroom was spacious, with plenty of room for clothes and other items. During my stay the weather changed from late summery warmth to early wintery cold, and the apartment, bedroom & bedding remained comfortable. The apartment is about 10 mins walk from Brooklyn Museum and Library, the Botanic Garden and Prospect Park. The subway is a few minutes walk away & super convenient for Manhattan. Nearby streets offer dining options. Mina was not there during my stay. I felt completely safe with James, and I had complete trust my belongings & privacy were being respected. This AirBnb best suits people with some maturity, who understand the need for mutual respect and consideration, and who will appreciate the care & thought with which James has created a home to share.

Had such a nice stay here! James was incredibly helpful during the check in process and was very personable. I had a great time talking to him and seeing his art around the apartment. He was also very responsive and checked in on how I was doing during my short stay in NY. I felt safe in the neighborhood as well and it’s so close to the subway stations. Would definitely stay here again!

This place is incredible! Amazing deal and location: close to shops, multiple subway connections and in a beautiful area of Brooklyn. Squeaky clean place, great smelling linens, comfy bed and best shower I have had in a while! James was so easy to communicate, attentive, respectful and friendly! We connected over art and music and he showed me the best parts of the neighborhood, including the Botanical Gardens nearby. All and all an amazing experience!

James' place was a gem, and I highly recommend anybody visiting NYC to stay here. He was extremely helpful and kind, I couldn't ask for a better host. As an NYC local, he had great recommendations and suggestions and was very flexible and communicative. The space was beautiful, packed with art and character but still extremely clean and well-equipped. The location was fantastic, close to transit and endless food options, and James has some great recommendations. If I could give more than 5 stars, I would! Thanks James :)

23년 9월 11일부터 5박함. 친구와 둘이 사용함. 오래된건물이나 숙소는 깨끗함. 지하철에서 가깝고 주변에 식당, 식료품점 있어서 편리했다. 호스트는 남자 혼자였음. 만약 혼자 숙박했다면 그점이 불편할 수 있다. 호스트는 친절하며 소통을 중시함. 브루클린과 맨하탄 아래쪽위주로 관광하기에 위치가 적합하다. 재방문할 생각 있음.
