Leave your troubles behind at our charming country home, equipped with a shared pool, surrounded by lavender fields, boasting a gorgeous view on the rolling hills of Provence. Seek adventure, kayak through the Gorges du Verdon, venture off on a day trip to the delightful village of Moustiers-Sainte-Marie, or get a taste of the Farmer's Market in Riez, all within a 30-minute drive. Or take it easy and enjoy a day at the poolside with a glass of rosé in hand. Or better yet... do both. This holiday home, newly renovated in 2023, is located between the Provençal villages of Puimoisson and Saint Jurs. On the 1.5 ha property there are two independent holiday homes, L'Abricot (4 people) and this one (L'Amandier 6 people). There is a pool (5×9m) shared by both houses. The spacious terrace around the pool offers enough space to relax on the comfortable sun loungers under white parasols. The accommodation has three bedrooms, two of which have large 180x200 king-size beds. The high-quality mattresses (Hilton sleepers) guarantee convenience and comfort. The third bedroom is wonderfully light and offers a very comfortable 160x200 queen-size bed. The rooms are cozy and offer pleasant retreats. All rooms are accessible via a large hallway. The living room is spacious and is furnished with a comfortable couch and a TV for perfect movie nights. In winter, the open fireplace offers a special cosiness. The dining area connects directly to the living room and offers a large table with 6 chairs and a beautiful antique desk. The kitchen is fully equipped and offers high quality cookware. The size of the kitchen is perfect for communal cooking evenings. From the kitchen you have direct access to the large private terrace, which is covered with shady bamboo. The perfect spot for breakfast or lunch overlooking rolling countryside, fields and mountains. A mobile charcoal grill is available for BBQ evenings. The bathroom has a shower, two sinks and a spacious vanity. The toilet is separate. We provide our guests with small details such as a make-up mirror, a hair dryer with a defuser attachment, organic shampoo and organic shower gel with a wonderful bergamot-mint scent for additional comfort.

Nous avons passé un excellent séjour chez Elaine et Lucas, agréable et reposant. Le logement est dans un endroit très paisible avec les gorges du Verdon et le lac de Saint Croix à proximité. Il est parfaitement équipé, meublé avec goût et confortable. Il y a aussi tous les produits de première nécessité ce qui facilite l’arrivée (cafe, condiments etc.) Ils se sont montrés très réactifs et disponibles, avec des belles recommandations pour diner (la soirée pizza dans la ferme toute proche: tres sympa!) Nous ne pouvons que recommander !
Wow!!! What do we say! We have absolutely loved our stay and there were tears from everyone upon leaving. Everything was amazing, from check in to departure it was just so easy. Elaine and Lucas are a dream, their communication and knowledge and quick action when we needed something was incredible. The house is absolutely gorgeous and the photos do not do it justice! The beds were so comfy and everything was brilliant quality. Not to mention the decor was beautiful and the pool with that incredible view was an added bonus - it felt like a home from home but better. The lavender was a god send as the children slept better than they ever have!!! The location was also spot on for the gorge and the lakes. We were absolutely spoilt. We loved staying in this little slice of heaven, and highly recommend it to anyone! Thankyou so much Elaine and Lucas for allowing our family to stay in your beautiful home. The house is in such a beautiful location, on a lavender farm. It was private but easily accessible. We were lucky enough to enjoy the smell and delightful views of the fields before they were harvested. The house itself is beautifully styled with lots of personal touches making it very homely. We were able to relax and really enjoy ourselves both inside and outside. Everything was extremely clean and furniture and bedding comfortable. The kitchen is extremely well stocked and has everything you could ever need! Elaine and Lucas are brilliant hosts, always responsive and provided us with very thorough information about the region and various recommendations which made our trip even better. Definitely make the trip to the Verdon Gorge it was spectacular!! Overall, we had the most amazing stay at Le Bastidon!
