This luxurious two bedroom, two bath residence with den was originally selected and furnished as a model because of its sweeping uninterrupted views of ocean, golf course and pond. The spacious living area offers palm-printed, newly reupholstered rattan furnishings, there is indoor and outdoor dining, and a den area that serves as a media room with a Smart TV. The master bedroom has island inspired decor, a king bed, Roku TV, en-suite, walk-in closet and ocean views while the second bedroom offers two twin beds and TV with basic cable. You will enjoy breathtaking views from the 375 sq. ft. wrap-around lanai and use of a Weber gas grill, perfect for sunset family BBQs. Amenities include fast wireless internet access at no additional charge, central air conditioning, ceiling fans for natural ventilation, and a fully equipped kitchen. The Kumulani is located on the "mauka" or mountain side of the highway, accessed through the Hapuna Beach Prince Hotel entrance. The Kumulani is a private development with only 40 units making it a quiet retreat away from the crowds. Guests have access to use the recreation pavilion with it's own private lap pool, hot tub and barbecue facilities. Guests of Kumulani at Mauna Kea A1 may purchase resort access to use the Mauna Kea Resort Club facilities during your stay for $120/day in 2024 (2025 rates have yet TBD & are subject to change) + tax, per RESERVATION (not per person). Purchase of this membership includes the following privileges at the Mauna Kea Beach Hotel and the Westin Hapuna Beach Hotel facilities: Charging privileges at both hotels for dining and activities, access to hotel beaches and pools, use of towels, lounge chairs, umbrellas, reduced golf rates, tennis (court fees apply), use of two fitness centers (yoga and group classes available for a fee), and an access card for preferred parking at the hotel. Our resort office is located at the Mauna Lani Terrace and is open daily from 9:00am - 5:00pm. We are available for guests who need assistance, have questions or would like recommendations for activities, beaches, restaurants, services, etc. We are also available after-hours to assist in case of a property-related emergency. A car rental is HIGHLY recommended, public transportation & taxi service is limited. Please note: Exterior painting to the Kumulani Recreation Center will be done between 5/06/24 to 5/25/24. Access will be available during most of these dates except from 5/20/24 to 5/25/24 to allow for proper prepping of the floors along with the curing process. The hotel is not planned to be closed entirely - instead the renovation will occur in sections which may, at times, cause interruptions to golf, tennis and hotel services. Please contact the Mauna Kea Beach Hotel for more specific information about access during your travel dates. The renovation will be ongoing from April 2024 until the summer of 2025.
