Suzie has a lovely rustic cabin right on the water. We stayed for four days, but having coffee on that deck will stick with me for years. Suzie was very responsive and helpful.

The Experience: It is important to recognize our esteemed hostess, Suzie. Suzie bestows upon her guests an exorbitant measure of grace and benevolence. We needed a LOT of help because of a cancelled flight and Suzie helped us as if we were her family, having personally called many people on our behalf and organizing alternative transport. Perfect location, especially if you bring a boat over. Loved the slough outside and watching fish jump. Such a charming home.

The cabin was a true gem to stay in. Our two families created a lifetime of memories in just a few days. Fishing under the bridge is something my kids will remember for a long time.

Suzie’s place is in the best location in Seldovia, in the middle of the historic boardwalk, overlooking the beautiful slough and the other houses on stilts. In the summer, the place was full of flowers planted in various whimsical planters, including old boots, all vigorous and blooming like crazy. The otters hang out in front and take naps in the middle of the slough. Susie was so easy to work with and very accommodating in every way. We loved the place!
