The cottage needed some TLC, had a smell in the kitchen, unfortunately the toilet did not work, but that was not the host fault, but she knew there was a problem the week before we rented her cottage, so we had to leave the next day. The host did refund us for one night, but we still had to pay cleaning fees, AirBNB fees for being there for about 15 hrs, very disappointing. When we got to cottage, the code of the lock box was already there, and the music in the cottage was very loud, we thought there was someone already in cottage, but there was no one, I guess the cleaning lady forgot to change the code and turn off the radio. The furniture around the fire pit were all rusty, old and needed some TLC. The sandy beach needs to be cleaned also. Overall we were very disappointed of our very short stay, and would not rent this place again PS. Ants in the kitchen needs to be address also

This place was extremely relaxing and fun, there’s lots of places to sit outside and a canoe to use (shared with other people). We have no complaints about this place and we hope to return in the future!

Martine was awesome! Very clear instructions, good communication, checking in and out was very simple. The other cottages are very close by but we were the only ones at the beach and fire pit all day. It was a good stay for the weekend

Martine was very responsive to our messages. We asked to check in several hours early and she allowed us without a problem. The floors in the cabin were not that clean, we had to wipe it ourselves. The electricity hence water was cut out at one point because of the storm but there was nothing they could've done about that.
