Kurt’s place is in an absolutely gorgeous area, right on the beach with some great snorkeling right outside the door. We didn’t realize there wasn’t wifi ( our fault, we didn’t read closely enough). Also had no digicel service there, so really out of touch. Kurt sent us down the beach and off trail up a hill to try and find service but it was hit or miss even there. No services in his village, had to take a $40-50 taxi each way into town for what little groceries they had even there. Kurt was super friendly and allowed us to check in early and out late which was helpful. He also arranged a taxi to the airport for us with a very nice driver.

They were very kind !!! And the house had a beautiful view….. I could see the many stars, too. Definitely I will come back again soon.

Kurt and Lynn are very nice hosts. They were helpful and responsive with communication. Our only criticism is that the rationing of water pressure needs to be made clear in the listing details. The unit is small, but the bed was comfortable.

Lucky’s Beach House is a beautiful spot in Vava’u. It is a ride out of town and the view and the peacefulness is worth staying there! Kurt was able to provide a taxi driver who knew exactly where the property was and picked us up from the airport. We had use of the kayaks and were able to kayak across to a private beach and then around the island. We saw many starfish! Snorkeling right from Lucky’s Beach was also an option! Kurt was very hospitable and helpful and we really enjoyed our conversations with him. He provided details about the cell service and purchasing SIM cards (which we opted not to do). He also provided info about the food stores and produce markets so we were prepared to get things on the way from the airport. We enjoyed our stay!
