We chose this location to host our large family gathering. The house was perfect as everyone had their own bedrooms with plenty of space for meals, games and visiting. Since we were there in February, we didn't get a chance to spend much time outside, but it appeared there was plenty of space to enjoy! The house was very clean and Carolyn was extremely helpful with instructions and any other things we needed to know. It was great to have the whole family in one place and we all had a wonderful time.

This large home worked so well for our family get together! The generously sized rooms (most with their own bathroom!) was one of the highlights, as well as the extra large dining table, and well-equipped kitchen. Great home, great location, great host!

We absolutely LOVED our stay at Carolyn's! The house was gorgeous, had lots of room, had everything would needed, and was also so cozy. Carolyn was extremely responsive and proactive in making sure we had everything we needed. Her directions were so helpful and easy to follow, and she also provided a great list of recommendations for things to do around Alexandria. We had such a blast, and hope to return again. I would HIGHLY recommend staying at The Chalet!!
