We've just come back from a week away in this beautiful lodge. It was lovely, warm and homely. Caroline gave the dogs a lovely basket full of treats and one for us too! very thoughtful. there was kitchen utensils, pots, pans and everything needed to cook for the family and bathroom things too. we will definitely be back
Caroline’s place was like a home from home, very clean and tidy, little welcome hamper was a lovely touch, any questions we asked she answered back promptly and also gave us a late checkout. Would definitely go back.
Lovely lodge and great host with lots of personal touches. Real homely feel which was lovely,
Excellent all round. Cabin is cosy, very clean and has everything you might need. Near amenities if you wish to use park facilities, including pool and gym. Lovely view from cabin with patio to sit out and enjoy. We had a lovely few days at the cabin and highly recommended. Will definitely be back. Thank you!
This special cabin is in a peaceful grassy area of Hunters Quay Holiday Village, which is in The Cowal Peninsula, a hidden gem of Scotland, located within Loch Lomond and the Trossachs National Park, which is approximately one hour from Loch Lomond, one hour from Glasgow, and 2 hours from Edinburgh. Whilst you can drive from Edinburgh or Glasgow through beautiful mountain scenery, it is quicker to drive to Gourock and onto The Western Ferry which has a crossing time of roughly 15 minutes, if using The Western Ferry, we would strongly advise buying your tickets in advance, (as they are double the price on board), either from their website, although allow postal delivery of your tickets, or you can purchase them on the way to the Ferry Port from Co-op food store on Eldon Street in Greenock (which you will pass through).
We have parking for two vehicles directly outside the front door.
As bus service runs regularly from Hunters Quay Holiday Village.
There is an auto connect taxi service phone in reception at
Hunters Quay Centre.
