The caretaker on site was lovely , we had fresh eggs and even home made cake offered at our door. Him and his wife checked in on us regularly , it was lovely to have.

Wonderful location in the vineyards and olive trees of Tuscany. We wanted to visit Florence and it was extremely easy to drive to the local nearby train station (free parking) and 30 mins later we were in the heart of Florence. Local restaurants and shops are good and in-house guidebook has more ideas. The estate manager was brilliant and gave us figs, eggs, wine and of course olive oil! Only downside is that the accommodation is a studio ie bed, sofa, kitchen is all in one room rather than one bedroom as stated on listing. There is loads of space outside and the pool and surrounds is beautiful so it didn’t matter but worth knowing before you go.

We had a wonderful time staying here! The pool was amazing and Remus and his wife were so friendly and kind. They bought us fresh eggs and made a delicious pastry which we loved. The surrounding countryside was idyllic. Would thoroughly recommend.

Our stay was incredible and the views were unbelievable. Such a peaceful and calming space with lovely people. The locals and Remus the caretaker were so helpful. We were brought fresh doughnuts and eggs from the chickens which made us feel so happy in this home from home stay. The pictures did not do this place justice, everywhere you turned the there was the most beautiful view. The land and rooms were so well taken care of, couldn’t have asked for anymore.

++ Beautiful house in beautiful Tuscan surroundings. Secluded and well equipped. The caretakers were very friendly and available. - - the other gites are right next to you and you have no intimacy/privacy. With a one year old baby we had to eat inside to avoid disturbing the other guests and on the last night there was some noisy guests. There are a few amenities missing for an Airbnb: no salt, no pepper, no sponge etc. A bit surprising and felt more like a holiday let.
