Nestled between historic Lacock and Georgian Bath, Jeannie's Cottage is located on Church Walk close to Melksham's town centre. This pretty street is one of Melksham's hidden gems, regularly winning prizes in ‘Melksham in Bloom’ contests. It is steeped in history and part of the town's conservation area. Dating from the late 18th Century, Jeannie's Cottage is Grade II listed and affords two storeys, two bedroom accommodation and has the benefit of an enclosed rear walled courtyard garden.
This place is something out of a storybook. We felt cozy and relaxed inside. Beds were comfortable, parking was available, and walking around the area was easy. Great location to visit Lacock and Bath. Would definitely stay again.
Ravissant cottage dans une rue charmante et au calme, très bien équipé. A proximité de tous les commerces. Nous avons passé un séjour fantastique avec des visites aux alentours très faciles d'accès. Nous reviendrons certainement !
We had a lovely couple of days in Jeanie's cottage! It was perfect size for our family of 4 (plus dog) and had all the amenities we needed. Everything was clean and nicely decorated. Communication beforehand was really helpful and instructions were very clear. Very good value for money!
Jeannie’s Cottage is situated in a very quiet area of the lovely little town of Melksham. Plenty of independent shops, cafes and restaurants, good transport links and supermarkets within walking distance. The little cottage has been tastefully modernised but still retains its cosiness, and is equipped with absolutely everything we needed. It was also extremely clean. Alexandra was a very responsive host. We had a very comfortable stay and I am very happy to recommend Jeannie’s Cottage.
