You’ll feel right at home in this adorable cape cod cottage home in the heart of Marion, IA. Why is it dubbed the Wrens Nest, you ask? Well... because if you listen closely, and watch for them in the back yard, you will see and hear our little wren family singing to you from their cozy nest, inside of the hanging gourd in our bush. The Wrens Nest has all of the essentials you will need, and is walking distance to the nearest Starbucks and Morning Story Breakfast/Lunch option! The kitchen is stocked with all of your cooking and baking needs. Additionally, it is stocked with a fully ready coffee bar with two stools if you want to have breakfast or afternoon tea while you look out the window. Coffee bar is stocked with regular and decaf coffee pods, Chai Tea Latte pods, Hot Chocolate pods AND individual creamer packets, sweetener and various tea bags if you prefer to put water in the kettle and brew yourself a cup of tea. Newer appliances, a gas stove, microwave and full size fridge, a blender, hand mixer, and toaster. Note that we do have a Reverse Osmosis filtration system(as well as a water softener) so the water is REALLY GOOD here! There is a door off the kitchen that leads to the deck and back yard. Take your coffee or tea outside on the deck in the mornings, and later be sure to make time to take in the pretty sunsets from the deck as well. The back yard is fenced. We are dog lovers and understand how important it is to take them with you, we do have dog dishes and some toys for your fur-babies to enjoy if they are traveling with you. Beautifully redone hardwood flooring throughout. The dining room table can accommodate 6 guests. There is a desk for guests to set up their laptops and work remotely. The main floor living room offers 2 large leather couches and 2 high back chairs. A large SmartTV for Netflix & Chill nights. The Fireplace is for looks only, but there is a cord that lights up the faux logs if you wanted to plug it in and chill a bit. The main level offers a size-able primary bedroom complete with a king size bed, and closet for hanging clothes. Directly adjacent to the primary bedroom is the full bath with tub and shower. Also ample storage. Upstairs there are two more bedrooms, each with a King sized bed, and a half bath in the hallway to share. Both bedrooms have built in dresser drawers and walk in closets, as well as digital alarm clocks with USB charging ports and x2 110V outlets. The lower level of the property boasts a large entertainment room, complete with games for adults and kids. There's a large SmartTV as well as a couch and love seat. Additionally on the lower level is a second full bathroom with shower unit and laundry facilities.
