Welcome to Rio! My apartment is on the 15th floor of a well-kept building with 24-hour concierge service. As the apartment is on the 15th floor, there is only little street noise. From the two terraces you have an unobstructed, wonderful view of the sea and the district. Here you can enjoy privacy, because no neighbor can see the two terraces of my apartment from above (the surrounding houses are all lower). The apartment gets the evening sun, so you can marvel at the light effects of the sunset. My bedroom has a queen-size bed: From the bedroom you can access the adjoining bathroom with shower and toilet. In addition, there is a guest toilet that can be reached from the living room. You have two terraces at your disposal: one that you reach from the living room and another terrace is in front of the bedroom. The kitchen is equipped with a microwave, an oven, a gas hob, a dishwasher, a fridge and a Nespresso machine. There are two air conditioners in my apartment: one in the bedroom and another in the living room. The apartment is cleaned by a chambermaid from monday to friday at around 4 p.m. If you don't want that, you can simply refuse room service. There is no television in this apartment. Why? When I'm in Jardim Oceanico I don't have time to watch TV - there's so much to do outdoors :-). The apartment is located in Jardim Oceanico, the hotspot of the BARRA DA TIJUCA district. The trendy beach bars of the famous "Pepe Beach" are right in front of the front door. 5 minutes from the accommodation you will find the trendy restaurants and bars of Avenida Olegario Maciel. The subway station "Jardim Oceanico" is a 10-minute walk away. From here you are within short time in Ipanema, Copacabana, etc. In addition, you can reach the "Tijuca National Forest" with over 80 hiking trails and numerous waterfalls within approx. 20 minutes with an Uber.
