This is a stunning house in a beautiful area. The kitchen is chef’s quality and the bath rooms and bedrooms were beautiful as well. There are two separate living/sitting areas which worked well for our group of 6 adults. The area where the house is located is lovely and I wish we could have been there in spring/summer to enjoy the great bike and walking paths. Our group had a wonderful time and I highly recommend. If you are planning on spending a lot of time in Amsterdam proper this may not be right for you as it takes around 40 minutes to get to the central parts of the city and involves a train/bus and then a change to tram/metro depending on where you are going. We easily figured it all out but something to think about if being in Amsterdam proper is what you are looking for. Thank you for being such great hosts.

This is a great house, well proportioned and with modern appliances and decor. Everything one needs to feel home was available to us. The hosts have kindly provided supplies for use in cooking and baking and plenty of the cooking gear, so it felt an easy transition from your home. Kitchen and utility room are well equipped and it makes your stay comfortable. Anne-Marieke provided clear instructions for all things in the house and left a personalised greeting card for us, a lovely touch. The house is in a nice quiet neighbourhood, a few minutes walk from a beach and from a kid's play area, and 20-25 min walk to a marina where you can relax with a drink in the evening. The only downside of our stay was a 10 a.m. checkout and the stress associated - even the hotels allow you to stay till 11-12, but otherwise we enjoyed our stay and loved the place - thanks Anne-Marieke!

We spent a few weeks in this house and it was a very pleasant experience, with a fantastic, peaceful location, yet still near Amsterdam and the amenities and restaurants of the Gooi region. The house is luxuriously appointed with excellent appliances that all work as expected; the listing is an accurate representation of the house and pretty much everything you might need is provided. I would like to highlight the excellent communication with the host. From the start, long before our stay, she was pro-active, very friendly and very quick and efficient in replying. She also went out of her way to make our stay pleasant. Overall we had a great stay and would recommend it!
