Unique stone house with private garden in old town Kyrenia. The Ottoman House with its authentic architecture, delivers a true Cyprus experience. It is the perfect environment for a relaxing and enjoyable holiday. This building is an oasis of antique crafts, furniture, and historical items mixed with modern minimalistic amenities. If you are in search for an authentic place to stay during your holiday, then the Ottoman House is the right place for You! You enter the private garden from the property gate. Once inside, the entire stone paved garden and house is at your disposal. Ground floor: - Hallway with spacious wardrobes - Bathroom with shower, sink, toilet, and washing machine - Master bedroom with double bed - Second bedroom with two single beds (set as double bed) Note; that there is no internal staircase in the house. To get to the first floor, use the outside staircase leading to the terrace and livingroom/kitchen on the first floor. First floor: - Shaded terrace with arches, dining area and built in BBQ - Livingroom with sitting area / kitchen with dining area - WC with sink Kitchen: - Oven, microwave, cooking top, fridge/freezer and dishwasher - Complete set of plates, cups, glasses, etc - Nespresso machine, blender, toaster, water boiler Garden: - Outdoor shower - Pergola with lounge furniture, dining table and BBQ - Lush Bagonwilla, Lemon and Mandarine trees - Two unique palm trees and a variety of flowers in pots - Old renovated well for garden decoration - A variety of historical items for garden decoration - Shed for garden tools and sun beds

Beautiful Ottoman house in the Turkish quarter. Everything you need for a couple. Well situated for the restaurant and bars in Kyrenia.

Yaz mevsiminde olsaydık burada konaklamak şahane olurdu. Yaşanılan teknik bir arızadan dolayı otele geçmeye karar verdik. Zaten kısa bir süreliğine gitmiştik ve zamanımızı tamirat için odada birini beklemekle geçirmek istemedik. Bir talihsizlik oldu ancak bu mekanı bir dahaki sefere yaz mevsiminde tercih ederim.Çünkü mesele bahçeyi kullanabilmekte çünkü odalar küçük ve bahçe kullanımı evi ferahlatacaktır.

We loved almost everything about the Ottoman House. It’s well located with a really beautiful and well maintained garden. The only thing that is bringing down our review was that unfortunately the boiler was broken during our stay in January. It meant we had to have cold showers which wasn’t great for our kids and our baby. Ayse did her best to resolve the situation, and on our last day, finally had a new boiler installed. She was responsive and very nice about the situation, proactively refunding us for a night. It would have been great if the property management company had checked the hot water and light bulbs (a few were broken) before we arrived. Everything else about the place we loved, and now it has a new boiler installed you will too.

Ayşe Hanım rezervasyon başından sonuna kadar çok iyi ilgiliydi, her sorumuza geri dönüş mutlaka yaptı. Evin konumu, giriş kolaylığı ve bahçe harika! Evde sıcak su sorunu var, maalesef sıcak su ile duş almak mümkün değil.. Havlular kirli ve çok eskiydi Ayşe Hanım’a yazdık hemen değiştirdi fakat genel olarak eski havlular var. Biz kış mevsiminde gittiğimiz için; Isınma da klima ile, klimalar çok iyi fakat yeterli gelmiyor, ya çok soğuk ya çok sıcak oluyor. Ayrıca ev iki bölümlü, iki giriş mevcut yukarıda mutfak, aşağıda(bahçeden yürünüyor ayrı girişli) yatak odaları var. Kış mevsimi için çok uygun bir ev değil. Tavsiye ederim, ama yaz mevsiminde. There are so many things to explore and experience in Kyrenia.
Besides being called the Jewel of Cyprus, Kyrenia has an interesting history. We recommend to walk around the old town, visit Kyrenia Castle located at the old harbour and to enjoy Mediterranean cuisine at the local restaurants.
At the old harbour you can also book boat trips and cultural tours.
Make sure to also visit Bella Pais Abbey during your stay. It is possible to walk there, but a taxi or rental car is recommended. The area offers a wide variety of restaurants, bars and café's.

The most flexible way to get around is to get a rental car or take a taxi. We work with Pacific Rental Car & Taxi Station, located around the corner from the Ottoman House.
You can also travel by bus to Nicosia or any of the small towns and villages along the Kyrenia Range coastline.
