Relax and take it easy at this newly remodeled and tranquil retreat. Enjoy the peace of being in the country right on a 17 acre pond stocked with bass, crappie, bluegill and catfish…Yet you are just 15 minutes from everything you could need. Fish as much as you want, sleep in as long as you want, create some happy memories in front of the fire, climb into the treehouse or go out and explore the great many things to see and do in this area! Peaceful Pond Retreat sits on 3 acres of land on a 17 acre pond. The house has 2 bedrooms, 2 full bathrooms, and laundry area. The kitchen, living room and dining room is an open concept design. There is a front porch and a large back deck, including a screened in area to relax in. The treehouse is connected to the deck. The pond and dock are steps away. Please no swimming but feel free to bring any non-powered water crafts of your own to paddle around in and if you want …fish.

The location is stunning and the accommodations are top-notch. My husband and I had a great time during our stay and spent most of our time fishing. However, we would have preferred more privacy and less noise, as there were many planes, trains, and neighbors around. Additionally, an earlier check-in time would have been appreciated. Despite these minor issues, we had an excellent stay and caught an impressive number of bass!
Laurie’s home was fantastic! The pictures do not do it justice! It’s beautifully decorated and her artwork is amazing. It’s in a peaceful and quiet location. Fun place to relax and kids will love the paddle boat, treehouse, fire pit, and play area with swing, zip line, and slide. The house was immaculate and Laurie was quick to respond to messages. My family and I had a wonderful time at Laurie’s house and can’t wait to stay again in the future. It’s a wonderful place to relax and unwind.

Loved, loved, loved this place! We've done a number of Airbnbs and this place is an example of why I continue to choose Airbnb over hotels. Our family of five all loved it. The zipline, pond, paddleboat, fishing rods, and fire pit were big hits. The inside was a perfect mix of stylish and hominess. Communication was good (internet is a bit spotty. Maybe if I had tried to get on Wi-Fi it would have been better, but I didn't care enough to bother). One of my kids used the sleeper sofa, which worked great. The curtains are good at maintaining privacy and darkness. The host has thought through basically everything. The labels throughout were visually nice and very helpful. There is an informative notebook on the kitchen counter; check it out for any questions you have. Hope you are able to fit this place into your schedule! And I hope to be back one day!

This neighborhood is quiet and feels very much in the country, although we are a mere 15 minutes away from everything! The closest convenience store is Nifty’s, 3 minutes or less than a mile away. Here you will find most everything you would expect-gas, food, drinks, ice, firewood etc…
Newnan is just another 10 minutes drive away with local shops, big box stores and restaurants galore!!
