This house was all the things I like in an AirBnB: clean, comfortable beds, and close to activities. We enjoyed visiting Blowing Rock and Boone and hiked several great places. Our dog enjoyed hanging on the deck and met several neighborhood dogs on our walks. The kitchen is a bit small for cooking but it had good amenties. For our family of 4 plus dog, it made for a lovely vacation.
Loved this little mountain home, nestled among the trees in a great location between Boone and Blowing Rock! We truly enjoyed both cities and our stay and I must say my son and I have allergies that are terrible and to be a home that allows pets - you'd never known one had been there. The house was spotlessly clean and equipped! I'd definitely stay again and we loved it!
Very beautiful home with every accommodation you could need for a stay in boone. Aho is a beautiful area with the perfect driving distance for anything from boone to linville.

Quiet friendly neighborhood. 5 minute drive to your choice of Blue Ridge Parkway entrance, Tweetsie Railroad, Wahoo Adventures. 15 minutes to Appalachian Ski Mountain, 8 minutes to Blowing Rock, 15 minutes to Boone, 15 minutes to Appalachian State University, 10 min to Watauga Regional Hospital
The house is between Boone and Blowing Rock, and is 1 mile from Rt. 321. Tweetsie Railroad is 1.8 miles from the house. Blowing Rock is less than 10 minutes. 15 minutes to Appalachian Ski Mountain. Boone, including Appalachian State University, is about 15 minutes from the house. Note that the road into the neighborhood, has a few potholes, but you can navigate around them.
During winter months accessing this cabin will require 4wd or AWD. Please be prepared for this as refunds will not be provided. Please ask the host more about road conditions closer to your stay. Thank you !
