Centrally located just off the main street in the town of Tain, this apartment offers spacious living space over two floors. Tain is situated on the North Coast 500 providing a great location for visiting Sutherland and Ross-shire, the Highland capital Inverness is 35 miles south. Set over 2 floors, the apartment is in the heart of the town of Tain. On the first floor there is a fully equipped kitchen/diner with washing machine, oven, grill, microwave and air fryer. There is a small private balcony off the dining area. The lounge has a large corner sofa with additional seats and a TV. WiFi is available in the property. There is a bathroom with shower on the first floor. The second floor has two similar sized double rooms with seating and storage space for luggage.

This Royal Burgh has a wonderful Links Golf Course designed by Tom Morris.
The Pilgrimage along with museum are interesting to those keen on history.
There is a swimming pool, tennis court, play park, bike track and small skatepark.
There are many options for eating out within the town; ‘Greens’ on the High Street (highly recommended), Platform 1864 (converted railway station, nice meals and for a drink), St Duthus Hotel (great pub style food) and The Royal Hotel are all within a 5-10 minute walk. Further afield but still within the town are the Mansfield Castle and Morangie House Hotel. There are many coffee shops in the area Pipers Coffee House on the High Street and newly opened Café 11 selling pizzas, pancakes, milkshakes on Market Street. A short walk to towards the town, there is North Coast Coffee House which has takeaway coffees, milkshakes and hot drinks. They also sell Mr Whippy soft scoop ice cream.
There are two fish and chip shops (Top Tain Chip shop also sells pizza and Indian curries) and Chinese takeaway (5-minute walk). The Wee Grill next to the Chinese sells hot snacks and ice cream.
The ‘Links Circular’ walk takes in views across the firth to Dornoch and the golf course. Tain Hill, Aldie Burn and Kildary Loch walks can be accessed with a short drive.
The famous Glenmorangie whisky distillery is a mile out of the town heading north, just off the A9. Further afield at Edderton is Balblair distillery.
Electric charging points can be found at Tesco and the car park on Queen Street.
There are various bus stops close by. The train station which can provide links to north and south is a 10/15 minute walk away.
