Escape from your busy lives in the charming homestay in Ammathi Coorg. You will be in a small town named Ammathi which is about 20 mins from Virajpet, giving you the flexibility to travel around Coorg. Experience the chirping of birds and beautiful flowers all round the property, meet local people and experience the goodness of slowing down time. One of the best places to work from home as you experience the simple laid back lifestyle with all amenities at your doorstep. The property is a part of a bungalow built in 1980's very lovingly by the owners. The property has 3 double rooms: 2 rooms with private bathrooms on the 1st floor with a shared balcony 1 double room on the ground floor with private bathroom. EACH DOUBLE ROOM ACCOMODATES 2 PEOPLE ONLY SO PLEASE BOOK ACCORDINGLY. The total number of guests in all 3 double rooms can only be 6. There is a carport which can be converted to a dining room for a lovely chit chat with other guests, a place to meet and greet and enjoy the beautiful ambience outside.

The property was very beautiful & quaint , the host Ms. Payal was extremely friendly and constantly checked-in if incase I needed anything. I had a very pleasant & peaceful stay at her place, if you're visiting Ammathi then you should definitely check this property, it's located right in the centre and I can assure that you'll feel at home.

One of the hosts was an authentic Coorgi, born and raised in the region, and they generously shared valuable insights about the best places to visit. It made our exploration of Coorg even more enriching. Payal and Rocky were not just hosts; they were wonderful storytellers. We enjoyed hearing their stories and felt very welcome and comfortable. Payal and Rocky has been wonderful host.. if we want to be away from crowded place please choose Ammathi and please stay here. Beautiful family hosting the place. Available with breakfast. Easily reachable place and they became good frnds at the end .. i recommend this place anyone planning to stay away from coorg or madikeri crowded place
Awesome place to leave with family. Awesome host, she took care of everything we needed. The food they served was authentic Coorgi cuisine. Proper homely feeling in the home stay. location is centre for all the tourist locations. Must visit place, won't regret.

Its a little town with few amenities. There are shops for your most needs and a little bar for a few drinks. its a safe neighbourhood for walks and you can experience the town life. You drive around 20 mins and you are in Virajpet (one of the main towns in Coorg) bustling with shops and restaurants. An hours drive will take you to Madikeri, the picturesque town surrounded by hills.
There is parking available in the property and no reservation is required. If you want to explore the town you can take a walk or drive to Virajpet (about 20 mins) or Madikeri (about an hour).
