Our small house is a beautiful oasis of calm and cosiness, a great place to stay to get away from it all. In a very green area surrounded by trees and next to two bushy reserves. Birds everywhere. A large wrap around deck to lounge on the hammock in the sun and spend evenings soaking in the outdoor bath. Pour a cup of tea, settle in with a book and slow down. Only a 1 minute drive to local Toi Toi community shops and a 5 minute drive to central Nelson town. Open plan kitchen, dining room and lounge, with one bedroom and one bathroom (with a separate toilet).

We are right next to two reserves! Pipers and Te Manu. Surrounded by greenery and lots of great walking tracks. If you walk up Pipers you get to the top of Tahunaui steps and can look out over the sea.
Toi Toi neighbourhood is lovely, we are a 5 minute walk away from the main Toi Toi centre. There is a big park there called Victory Square, a few dairies, a pharmacy, fish and chips and a few other places to eat.
4min drive to Nelson central.
1min drive to local shops.
20-25min walk to town.
30-40min walk to beach.

Originally from Queenstown, I have lived in Nelson for the last three years with my partner James. I am obsessed with small homes and we have been extremely lucky to be able to build our own, firstly down south and most recently in Nelson. My partner and I both work from home on our own business. I am a dog walker and lover (we have two standard poodles) an avid tea drinker and enjoy living a slow paced life.
