NO parking (unless she grudgingly allows you to park in the awful-looking yard). The house appears like a place you’d never want to willingly approach. ALL windows are shuttered or curtained (or both). The porch entry is cluttered & filthy with potting soil strewn about. The main room where you walk through to get to your room is a disaster area with everything in disarray. Same with the kitchen, which has an obvious ‘spy camera’ so she can watch you enter the ‘forbidden zone’, & berate you for ‘entering her space’. Everything is nit-picked, EVERYTHING! There is NO soap, NO washcloth. If you dare ask, you are belittled for daring to ask for ‘the things you should have brought’. I went to Publix & bought my own next day. She supplies NOTHING! She accused me of ‘stealing’ her USED cake of soap which she had laid on the dirty table in the hallway, previously pointing out that anything there could be used by guests. I returned it, unused, of course. I locked ONE lock on her front door (there are two) & was accused of the major crime of leaving one lock unturned. If you want to stay in these circumstances, go for it. No amount of money could get me to rebook this total disaster through AIRBNB.

Honestly, Emily is an absolute blessing! She is super kind. My teenage daughter and I love this area. This is a great place to stay if you were looking to explore the area and have fun but wants some quiet rest at night. The neighborhood is very quiet and chill. Emily gave us information about places that we had not checked out before and was there to answer questions as needed. Her home is really cool, and our room was incredibly comfortable and just way beyond expectations. We had never been able to afford to stay in this area before and I can’t put into words how grateful we are for the experience at Emily‘s house.
