I’ll start by saying Vacasa does a great job communicating and trying to accommodate requests. The properties are generally accurate in the listing. This is the first time I’ve had an issue. 1) this is NOT ski-in/ski-out. They certainly charge the price for it, but you are a minimum of a 5 minute walk to and from any usable skiable path. Yes, it’s close, but that’s not the same- one or both options to get to the lifts or home need to be skiable to use that term. 2) BBQs are chained up and put away, no tanks. Clearly these are meant for summer but I’ve stayed plenty of places in Breck (and elsewhere) that keep the grills going all year long. That needs to be specified, we brought meat to grill and were irritated to find this wasn’t possible. 3) the dryer vent doesn’t go anywhere so it’s quite difficult to efficiently/normally dry anything. Seems like a potential fire hazard. 4) small things like no hooks on the backs of doors to hang towels can be remedied easily.

They would not respond to my phone calls to get something fixed when it was broke. I left multiple voicemail messages, and they never called me back. Ever.

Change in policy, only one parking spot, not two. Vacasa never responded to email questioning that. Furniture is worn. King bed mattress desperately needs to be replaced. Stove didn't appear to work.
