We were a group of 12 people all family. After seeing the pictures on Airbnb, we were most excited about this property. The place was exactly like the pictures. Everything on and around the property was fantastic. The property is quite self-sufficient and we didn’t need to go out for anything as such. The caretakers and the cook were extremely friendly and took care of us extremely well. We thoroughly enjoyed our meals that were cooked by the chef on site and it was also well priced compared to some other Airbnbs that we stayed at in Srilanka. The property is luxurious, extremely clean well stocked, just like a hotel. The karaoke machine and the hot tub were perfect additions to our stay at this property. The views were fantastic. We took a small walk behind the property which leads you into acres of tea plantations. Also loved walking past all the vegetable farms around the property. This property served as a perfect relaxing end to our 10 day Sri Lankan escapade.

What made this place great was the staff. We were a group of 12 and the 4 people that worked there were amazing. The food was absolutely amazing!! Varun, Manoj, Nishanth and Muthu took such good care of us. Only issue was the road getting to this place was a little difficult. I would highly recommend this place if you are going to Nuwereliya!!

Sulanga was a beautiful house with great views, but service and hygiene left much to desire. We booked Sulanga for a 4-night family holiday, and here are our thoughts. Pros: - House was beautifully designed, with stunning views of sunsets and the neighbourhood. - House Owner was very accommodating, even allowing us to shorten our stay by 1 night after a change in our plans. - There were staff quarters for our Driver and Tour Guide, which made our day-to-day planning much easier. - The Chef’s cooking was good. We were happy with all 3 meals he made us (traditional Sri Lankan cuisine, English breakfast and roti canai breakfast). - House manager & staffs were always on standby, we felt safe Cons: - As the uphill roads surrounding Sulanga have not been tarred, accessing it could be challenging for those with elderly, young kids or differently-abled people. - Bedrooms on the lower floor has water stains on ceilings and some of the corridors. - Balcony has birds' poop and dusty

I had the most amazing stay here in Nuwara Eliya. Honestly if you’re looking for a magical experience with a group then look no further. The team made us feel really welcome and fulfilled our every request, we really felt so well looked after and the accommodation itself is absolutely stunning even better than the pictures with views over mountains and tea plantations. Chef Wadda (the nicest chef in the world) gave us an incredible cooking lesson in the garden and showed us how to make Roti (try the banana one, it’s amazing), and cooked the most delicious food for us throughout our stay. They kept the place really clean and tidy for us, pulled out all the stops for our friend’s birthday, and the hot tub was absolutely incredible. The manager Manoj and owner Ranjith were super communicative, and I’d like to give a special shout out to Madushanka and Nishantha for making our stay extra special. They organised everything from tours to tuktuks. Worth every penny and more! Best Airbnb ever.
