Pretty Point is a delightful retreat in a beautiful and peaceful setting! The house and grounds are picturesque from all viewpoints! The interior layout and decor are perfection! Lake views galore with a spacious screened porch to enjoy the calming vistas. Outside there are terracing decks leading to the lake and boathouse. A grill and separate fire pit await your cooking and evening entertainment. Overall, Pretty Point is a must stay! Clean, spacious, peaceful, and the lake views are spectacular! The Host is very responsive and communication is friendly and informative.

Sam is an excellent host and his place was better than any pictures can convey. It was super clean and well stocked. A great place for boating and fishing. Sam recommended some places to try for specific fish. Wife and daughter loved walking the neighborhood and the screened porch was a big hit for reading a book and outdoor dining. Would recommend 10/10. We will absolutely be back.

We highly recommend this rental. The water view from this house is amazing. The covered dock was the perfect place to sit and relax or fish. My boys loved the paddle board and kayak. The weather was perfect to enjoy the fire pit. The house had all the amenities anyone would ever need! Sam had detailed instructions and directions for the listing. He had a list of nearby restaurants and grocery store which made navigating the area so easy. He was an awesome host

We had a lovely time at pretty point on Hickory Lake. My family of five were very comfortable in the home. Lots of room and beautiful views. Waking up in the morning to hot coffee and a beautiful view of hickory lake was a special treat. The kids wanted to learn how to snowboard so we took them up to Sugar Mountain and Beech Mountain for day trips. Lots of snow at Beach Mountain It was like a winter wonderland. We drove through blowing rock and saw all of the lovely shops and restaurants. We also enjoyed down town Hickory with the shops, theater, station, restaurants and Thirft stores. My daughter wanted to do something for New Year’s Eve, so we found a local Barn Venue hosting a band and New Year’s Eve event, we had a great time hanging out with the locals. My favorite part was coming home at dusk and seeing a family of deers on the lawn a few houses down. They seem to come out the same time every night . We look forward to booking pretty point again for some new adventures .
