Had a very relaxing weekend! House was clean and was in a very quiet area! Michael is an excellent host! Would stay here again!

It was immaculate and so spacious. There is absolutely everything you could need and then some. The bedrooms are spacious as are the bathrooms. The ensuite bathroom downstairs was great. The loft is a nice. extra space There is plenty of linens and essentials. It's location was awesome,center to go amd explore the beautiful surrounding towns. 100% recommemd.

Pros: - there’s a gas grill (check if there is enough gas or plan on bringing your own if you are unsure) - two full bathrooms and plenty of beds/bedding for a ton of people - private parking enough to fit maybe 3-4 cars - outdoor deck for everyone to relax in - community has a pool, a lake beach, and tennis courts so plenty for everyone to do - VERY close to Jim Thorpe and other nearby cute little towns - well stocked with basic amenities and there is a washer/dryer right at the kitchen so easy clean up - high speed wifi for you to stay connected - I didn’t have a chance to use it, but the living room has a wood burning stove so in the winter I’m sure it can get very cozy and nice Cons - no AC for the unit for the house so it can get stuffy, but the living room ceiling fan+the window fan units and the one floor ac unit can help - no outdoor fire pit available for use, which is a bummer for this type of place

I booked Michael's place for other guests so am reporting mainly what they had to stay as I didn't stay there, though I did visit a few times. It's a great and quiet place to stay. Deer were spotted in the yard frequently! House was clean and well-maintained and a short drive (approx. 10 mins.) to downtown Jim Thorpe. Great front deck. Be aware that there's no TV downstairs (not sure if there was one upstairs?) and that the "finished attic" is more like an open loft space -- it has a divider but is not really its own bedroom. Minor issues aside, overall my guests had a pleasant stay and commented to me often about the family of deer they saw every day!
