We paid $170/night before fees & taxes, cleaning fee was $80 for the stay. I am very disappointed to be charged this much for a stay here. The care that has been taken with the house reminds me of student living where the landlord has provided some good perks, but they don't distract from the basics being entirely wrong. The following are facts about our stay, when you read them remember that words like small, simple and basic are not the same as broken, dirty and foul smelling. Positives: - Lots of cooking equipment - Well stocked drinks fridge, we enjoyed - Large TVs - Plenty of bottled water for the dispenser - Plenty of dry, high-quality wood for the effective wood burner - Lots of coffee pods Negatives: - The cold tap water tasted awful and the hot smelled of sulfur, including if you tried to wash with it. This was clearly not a new issue and I can accept the water dispenser for drinking & cooking, but not being able to use hot water without it smelling is completely unacceptable. - The bed sheets had a not-so-fresh smell to them, I suspect from the water issues. - The door lock malfunctioned several times during our stay - The inside of the oven door was filthy, like months worth of cooking had been done in it. - The inside of the dishwasher was permanently discoloured from either a lack of cleaning or the water problems. - The switch between spray and jet on the kitchen tap was broken, so turning it on would bounce water over you unless you held the switch with the other hand. The tap couldn't be moved without the rest of the fixture also moving. - All three mats in the washroom (1x sink & 2x shower) looked like they hadn't been cleaned in many months. - The washroom hand soap had lots of black mould around the plunger and floating around the top of the soap itself. - The washroom sink drain was cracked with broken plastic that was orange through lack of cleaning. None of negatives were related to the fundamental character of the house that could not be changed; they were problems that at $170 per night a guest should not be facing, rather than quirks of a simple property.

Nous avons adoré notre séjour dans cette charmante et chaleureuse petite maison. La cuisine est très bien équipée et nous n'avons manqué de rien. La communication avec l'hôte est excellente. Nous aurions eu envie de prolonger notre séjour. Nous retournerons sans hésiter.

The location is probably the best thing with this AirBnB. It is under an hour to Montréal, less than 15 to go to st sauveur, under an hour to go to tremblant and grocery store, liquor store and any other necessity is within 5 minutes. The chimney was fantastic and with plenty of wood to burn. Kitchen was fully stocked for cooking great meals. Rooms were functional but one was slightly cramped (mattress and freezer in one bedroom). Cleanliness was good. Charles was a fantastic host, great communication and check in was a breeze. There is a MASSIVE tv! Overall great weekend stay.

Great stay, you will enjoy the fire. Close to the ski hills and 5 minutes drive from the mall and restaurants. Ensure you drink from the filtered water dispenser. Charles did a great job in decorating the warm and welcoming ambience of this house. Great memories.
