Our apartment is located very close to the Bastille in a very lively area, but yet very quiet in the authentic Passage du Chantier. You can enjoy the many and great bars & restaurants nearby while enjoying calm when you return home! On the ground floor, our 57 m2 apartment is a former tannery dating from 1844 which has been completely renovated with a glass roof for maximum light and a magnificent contrast between old materials and the modernity of its steel structure. . The accommodation is composed of: - A living room - A kitchen open on the dining room - A bedroom with king-size bed (180x200cm) - An office - A bathroom - A toilet

Nicholas was a very responsible as well as responsive host. He was quick to get back with me when I had questions. The only negative was the internet. As a remote business person, the internet service was not up to par. Otherwise, the place was as described. Interestingly, this loft is located in a "passage". A passage is Parisian for a cobblestone alley, too narrow for a car, but with lots of little shops. If you are looking for a large airy apartment near the Bastille you will love this loft with a great host.

The Bastille neighborhood is famous for its restaurants, bars and superb shops. Many tourist sites are in the immediate vicinity such as the Marais, the Place des Vosges, the Coulée Verte or the Rue Crémieux.
You can enjoy all these attractions while being in absolute calm in the Passage du Chantier, known by photographers for its charm of a small cobbled street hosting workshops for the manufacture of furniture and artists.
