Gary’s place was super clean and close to everything. It was just about 15 min to downtown and every other place we visited. The neighborhood was quiet and felt safe. Highly recommend staying here

We booked this place last minute to see the eclipse. The apartment is airy & bright with comfy beds in 3 large rooms and a very nice bathroom. 2 things to note: there are 2 doors to the apartment - one door at the bottom of about 15 stairs up to the apartment and one door at the top of the stairs. The one at the bottom locks with an electronic lock but the door at the top of the stairs would not stay closed. My husband and I felt safe enough to stay with our toddler daughters but we had to keep a close eye on them to make sure they didn’t get too close and I’m also not sure I’s stay in the apartment alone with the faulty door. The other thing to note is that the apartment downstairs (also owned by Gary) has a long-term tenant with two dogs. We love dogs so we weren’t worried but they bark at pretty much everything and barked for a good part of the day and into the night. They did stop at around 10/11pm both nights but definitely something to note.

Gary was prompt to respond to any questions and had a very nice house. Plenty of space for family of four to stay at. I would stay there again.

Gary's place was a perfect home base during a family visit to Cleveland. Walkable to restaurants and bars on Lorain Rd, which was a big plus. Would stay here again.
