The cottage is well located, a 5 min drive to Malahide village or a 40 min walk through beautiful Malahide Castle grounds, it’s also a 25-30 min drive to Dublin centre and a 10 min drive to the airport. Calling it seaside is stretching it a bit, but it’s a rather quaint and very bright and airy cottage. Although on a main road, we were not aware of traffic noise and it has a pretty secluded garden. A car can be securely parked behind the gate. The two double bedrooms (one with ensuite shower) are comfortable with plenty of storage space. Our only issue was that there was a pervasive sewage smell in the second bathroom (with bath and shower) and it did not have a functioning ventilation. We kept the door closed. Also the shower water pressure in that bathroom was weak. The kitchen is well equipped and clean. Overall, good value for money and a comfortable stay for us three.

The guest house was clean and tidy & cosy, almost too hot but perfect for a winter stay! It was well equipped with kitchen utensils, bedding & towels and located a short walk from plenty of local attractions, bus stops & train stations
