I had an absolutely wonderful time at Pedro and Ana's who really exceeded my expectations by far. They are just such a kind, welcoming and lovely family and I felt immediately at home. Being worried that I won't be able to find any food as a Vegetarian they even offered me food (delicious!) and definitely went above amd beyond. Their house truly is a place of tropical peace. Travelling solo I also appreciated the possibility of them organizing an airport pick-up and a driver for the weekend which felt very safe. Sr Domingos was great too, exploring the area with me ! Thank you all so much for a great weekend !

This place is magical. A little calm piece of heaven with lots of love around you. Ana & Pedro are the sweetest most considerate hosts ever. The playful dogs, the sweet cat, the beautiful garden, the lovely staff, thd room, everything is just so nice here. Ask them to take you to their little school, where they help local children learn, play and eat. I wanted to stay 1 night, but stayed 3 and hated to leave this place. I will come back for sure.

I had a wonderful time at Pedro's and Ana's peaceful home. They were so welcoming and kind! The breakfast every morning was delicious, their guesthouse is fantastic, and they're amongst the best hosts I ever had! I highly recommend the place to anyone looking for a peaceful time in Benguela/Lobito areas.

Our experience here with Pedro in Benguela was unforgettable. His beautiful home allowed us breakfast poolside after resting in a kingsize bed. Ana his wife was amazing with us, speaking Spanish with my friend and translating for Pedro when necessary. Pedro and Ana's adopted children are fantastic, smart and lively, we had the joyful company of their youngest on our trip with Pedro as our driver to Baia Farta and Baia Azul. Their home is an hour walking from the beach so not recommended to stay here without a car but Pedro made himself fully available to drive us around at a cost fixed prior, even at 1am from a party downtown on the weekend. Pedro gave us both a tourist and a local view on the area, even showing us his childhood city of Lobito for an evening out. Super recommended stay, just don't forget it's Africa - no wifi at this getaway and sometimes the power is out (there's a generator if anything), but bring your own SIM card so you can message Pedro should anything happen.
