The place was great ! Nice kitchen and well equipped except the rice cooker did not work. Upstairs bathroom shower door wasn’t the best so the floor got wet. Other than that the place was close to the shops and all the entrances to the beaches and off road tracks. Very friendly hosts that allowed us early and late check in.

Our stay at this beach house was fantastic! We were impressed by the spaciousness and cleanliness of the property, the two enormous decks were a total highlight. The layout was perfect for us with plenty of space for teenagers to do their own thing and for us to entertain friends. The bush position was so peaceful. Loved our week here, we will be back.

We loved Straddie and loved this property! It has 2 levels with 2 bedrooms and a bathroom on each level - perfect for 2 families or travelling with teens! Each level also had a huge furnished deck - this is where we spent most of our time! The decks are surrounded by the most beautiful bushland, you are sitting up amongst the birds in the treetops! Nature everywhere, we saw wallabies, kangaroos, so many birds and even a green tree frog came to join us one evening. We loved the pole-style house, with huge timber poles throughout adding to the natural feel of the property. Whilst not walking distance to beach (only 2 minutes drive), there were gorgeous sandy bush tracks behind the property where we enjoyed quite a few strolls. We ate out most meals but the kitchens (full kitchen upstairs/ partial kitchen down) were well equipped. Oh, and my friend insisted I mention the super-comfortable mattress in the main bedroom! We would definitely stay again, thank you Colin

Loved it when we first walked in and then things took a turn. Appliances are rubbish, pans are useless, bbq doesn’t work properly and pours out gas, hot water system cuts out, tv reception cuts out. Not recommended for grand final weekend.
