A lovely cozy cottage with a peaceful garden. Was well set up with everything you needed for your trip away. Thoughtful decor to match the history of the cottage. Loved my time here - lots of walks nearby and also lots of books on the shelf. Claire was very thorough with instructions and had left the fire ready to light - great since my arrival was in the evening. Would definitely stay again.

Lovely stay at Claire's place. Plenty of space for kids in the yard and the treehouse was a hit with my son.

Beautiful place, a lot of space. You can find some nice walks on the Arthur's pass. Kind hosts, we enjoyed our stay very much. We would definitely recommend.

Spacious cottage with a lot of character! Great host. Set in beautiful surroundings, but unfortunately had to dock a star because being right on the highway 73, the noise from the highway made it far from peaceful. This would be a a great place for a family to stay as kids would love playing in the grounds.

A very nice stay with a gorgeous view of the mountains and so many stars visible at night! The house was very clean with all facilities exactly as described, and the owner went above and beyond by bringing over detergent for us when we mentioned we wanted to do a wash. We used the house as a base to visit Christchurch (the Willowbank Wildlife Reserve, New Brighton Beach, the International Antarctic Centre and the He Puna Taimoana Hot Pools (booking essential for the latter).
