What a great experience to be able to stay on a beautiful boat in this beautiful city! The room is the cutest, good space for 2 people and perfectly equipped with everything we needed. The area is so quaint and quiet while also being conveniently close to the bus stop (or less than a mile walk) to get to Centraal Station which takes you anywhere in Amsterdam with ease! Jol gave the great recommendation to take the closeby free ferry to Noord where we had a great night! They are responsive on the app and I had zero worries! Going to recommend this place to all I know who want to visit Amsterdam!

Staying at the Westerdok houseboat in Amsterdam was an absolute delight! From the moment we arrived, hosts Stevin & Jol made us feel incredibly welcome, and their lightning-fast communication ensured a seamless experience throughout our stay. One of the highlights was the flexible check-in, which allowed us to start our Amsterdam adventure right away. Additionally, being able to securely leave our luggage on the boat on our last day was a game-changer, allowing us to make the most of every moment without the burden of our bags. The captains quarters exuded warmth and charm, making us feel right at home from the start. It's evident that a lot of care and attention has gone into restoring the space to such a high standard. Every detail, from the positioning of plug outlets to the placement of light switches, was well thought out, enhancing the overall comfort and convenience of our stay. Overall, our experience at the Westerdok houseboat was nothing short of exceptional. Highly recommend

Stevin and Jol are wonderful hosts. The little studio on their houseboat is the perfect base for a visit to Amsterdam. It's within easy walking distance of the central station and the lovely Jordaan district and close by trams and buses for further afield. They provide an array of guidebooks and useful info which helped us make the most of our short break. The accommodation itself is warm, clean, comfortable and highly recommended. Thank you Stevin and Jol!
