Magen is an open and lovely person. We had a week's stay and felt very comfortable. The apartment is very nicely furnished and nothing was missing. In the evenings we sat together and talked. It was great fun and we had the opportunity to get to know each other better and gain an impression of life in the States. I would definitely recommend the accommodation and would definitely come again.

Staying at Magen's was a five star experience! My room and the bathroom were spotless and peaceful. I slept amazingly well on the comfortable bed. Some folks have said that they heard sirens due to the nearby hospital, but I did not. Magen was an above-and-beyond host. She was friendly and helpful, and even made me a cappuccino on my last morning! The R train is just a few blocks away and takes you right to the heart of numerous restaurant-filled neighborhoods. If you like to walk, you can get to Sunset Park (the actual park with nearby restaurants) in about 20 minutes on foot. There aren't really any restaurants near Magen's place, but oh my goodness the best pupusas are for sale on the corner of 53rd and 4th. I would definitely stay here again! Thank you Magen!

Sunset Park location - bit of a walk from the metro so heavy luggage beware. Handful of small mom and pop restaurants within 10-15 minute walk. Cheaper location that doesn’t require a car in the NYC area. Overall was a fine stay.
