Great place where to spend a weekend. Nice space and great secluded location. Interesting art inside and outside. Annie was great. Communicative and helpful. The place has nice and welcoming touches. Easy driving distance from DEI Beacon, Storm King, Magazzino Italiano and nice hikes.

Annie's place is Beacon is absolutely stunning. Listening to the creek in the morning over coffee while surrounded fall foliage was therapeutic. The apartment itself was also super cozy and unique with Emil's beautiful sculptures. The location coupled with the apartment and thoughtful touch pieces - toiletries, Nespresso machine, cookies, etc. – enabled us to have an amazing weekend upstate. Thank you for hosting us!

tl;dr - an excellent choice for a unique and restful weekend getaway, with thoughtful amenities and intriguing sculptures. While it has its quirks, it leaves you with memorable stories to share. + Serene location: A great place that provides a tranquil escape from the city, offering a quiet and private setting. + Thoughtful amenities: The host has gone above and beyond to provide a well-stocked space with thoughtful amenities for a convenient stay. + Unique experience: The presence of intriguing sculptures, though sometimes unsettling, added a unique and memorable touch to our trip. - Some of the artwork: Some were unexpectedly unsettling, but they became a fun conversation starter. - Kitchenette setup: Limited kitchen facilities made eating anything more than a snack a bit challenging, so we stuck to snacks. - Murphy bed: The bed is functional but not the most comfortable for extended stays.
