As you approach the front door from the carport, you will notice a patio on your left which catches the morning sun and shades you in the afternoons as you watch the sunlight and shadows play over the mountains. The kaleidoscope of colors and variety of vistas from the best vantage point of the space, are truly majestic. Comfortable seating with umbrella, a gas BBQ grill, and a gas fire pit for winter evenings make this area a favorite for your stay. Let yourself into the home with your personal key code, and step into the spacious living area, with a large skylight. On the wall to the left of the front door, is a wall shelf with the key cards to the community pool, paddle ball, club house, small gym, horse shoes, shuffleboard, and a basketball hoop. Straight ahead is the living room, and past that, a spacious Arizona room. A fully accessorized kitchen is to your left, with all kitchen appliances including microwave oven, toaster, blender, and small coffee maker. Of course, large appliances (refrigerator, stove/oven and dishwasher)are here, too. The kitchen is fully stocked with table ware and cooking items, as well as a number of staples for your use. Windows in the kitchen also over look the mountains! Adjoining the kitchen is the dining area, with a lovely glass table that seats 5, and has a lovely mountain view itself. Plenty of room for dining, playing cards, board games, or working a puzzle. These are stored in the spare room/office/library. In the living room, there is a wall mounted TV, with Wi-Fi and streaming services. Lots of free channels, or log into your personal subscriptions. NEWLY UPGRADED to Directv Streaming, which provides cable-like channels. ENJOY MORE TV VIEWING DURING THESE HOT SUMMER MONTHS! Bedroom 1 has a king-sized bed, huge reach in closet, remote controlled fan and light, and an ensuite bathroom with walk-in shower. Sliding door to the Arizona room lets in light if you wish it, and the black out curtains give you a good night's sleep. Another wall mounted TV, with remote, lives here. In the center of the house is a spare room, set up as a library stocked with plenty of miscellaneous books and games. A comfortable couch folds down into a futon for additional sleep space, if needed. Bedroom 2 has a queen sized bed, and generous closet space. A bedside table, and small set of drawers in the closet add to storage while leaving you a spacious feel, and allowing a wall mounted TV with remote. As you awake, you are treated to mountain views through the window! Bathroom 2, with a tub and shower is located off the living area, right outside the door to bedroom 2. Out the back door is a cleared hiking trail, and the community center is only 330 steps from the front door! The community center is accessible by a key card, which is in the house for you. At the community center is a regulation tennis court, 4 pickle ball courts, a small gym, shuffle board, a horse shoe pit and a lovely pool, as well as other lovely guests! There are also special events held several times a month, including a great pot luck dinner! You will find all linens provided, and personal hygiene items such as hand soap, body wash, and shampoo and conditioner, all in refillable containers. If you like to, or need to, shop, you will find a full shopping complex including a Super WalMart less than 2 miles to the north east. Grocery store and eateries are less than 1 mile away. If you like small, specialty shops, Green Valley is full of them also, to the south. All of Green Valley is less than 4 miles away. Like National Parks? Try Coronado National Forest. Inside this 25,260 acre National Park, you will find: Mount Lemmon Ski Resort! Luz Del Sol is under 2 hours to Mount Lemmon Ski Resort, where there are things to do summer (20 degrees cooler) AND winter! (skiing in Southern Arizona, anyone?) MUCH closer to Luz Del Sol, only 21 miles away is Elephant Head Mountain, with hiking and biking trails. Titled the Mount Wrightson Wilderness area, this park within a park also hosts the headwaters of Madera Canyon, one of the most famous birdwatching areas in the Southwest. Trails within the Mt. Wrightson Wilderness range from well-used pathways to primitive routes. A few of the most popular access points are located within the Madera Canyon Recreation Area, where roads and parking areas are paved. Trails in the Wilderness crisscross forests, canyons and ridgetops, accessing panoramic views and cool, shaded glades. Ponderosa pine and Douglas-fir inhabit higher reaches of the area while lower and more exposed slopes are covered with oak woodlands.
