A cosy Shepherds hut in the idyllic village of Powerstock, Dorset. What makes our space unique? Location! We are lucky enough to have a breathtaking rural setting. The Shepherds Snug is tucked away in a beautiful valley, a peaceful setting perfect for relaxing! Our animals and wildlife surrounding you, waking up to birdsong.. perfect! Also we are just a few minutes walk to 2 excellent pubs! A 10 minute drive to the Jurassic Coast, the town of Bridport, West Bay. Perfect! Dorset Valley Glamping is hidden away on our 18 acre smallholding at Rabbit Catchers Farm. We have 3 Shepherds Huts here, Shepherds Snug can be booked in conjunction with The Warren and The Nest, subject to availability. Shepherds Snug is a traditional hut, warm and cosy. It has a well equipped kitchenette, with an induction hob, cooker and a fridge. A kingsize bed so comfortable a good night sleep is guaranteed! A log burner as well as central heating will ensure you are warm. An en-suite with a rainfall shower, basin, WC and heated towel rail. Fresh white bedding and towels. Outside a private and luxurious hot tub. It is electric so no pre heating required. A well behaved dog is welcome for an additional £20. We do ask you bring your own bedding if your dog is likely to jump/sleep on the bed. Don’t forget to add them to your booking. The field directly in front of you belongs to us, head in either direction (there are footpaths) and you’ll find yourself at a pub! You should see plenty of wildlife while here from deers (we have white ones) hedgehogs, birds surround you its a wonderful spot for bird lovers! The owls can really put on a show at dusk!! All our animals are very friendly, our Kunekune pigs Binky and Bonny are your next door neighbours they are very sweet and love a good scratch! If you’d like to meet the animals let us know, we warn you they all love a fuss especially the sheep, you’ll struggle to leave! Unfortunately no Wi-Fi however phone signal is excellent.
