The place matched the pictures until I got to the kitchen & the fridge was leaking & the braai stand was not clean,there were cigarette buds left over. The mats were full of sand & not vacuumed. The host indicated she won’t be able to communicate due to network issues but the house manager was impossible to reach & would claim we had not contacted them when we did such as one night when we didn’t have wifi for 16 hours & we were met with a lousy apology. At no point did the house manager Rose come to the apartment to do the alleged inspection of the apartment even after notifying her of the complaints. We had to figure out how to use the remote & keys ourselves as the house manager didn’t let us know until 2 days later. The beds were uncomfortable. The fridge had old ice & wasn’t cleaned. We checked out early & the instructions state the house manager had to meet us at the apartment & that didn’t happen, we had to go to a place of her choosing 30kms away & she wasn’t even there. 0/10

It was a great experience, felt very cozy and at home . The host was super responsive and we had a pleasant stay. Would surely recommend it to anyone.

i loved the place it was just as listed and the host was so welcoming. the home was clean and surely a home away from home. we are definitely staying here the next time we travel to Swakop
