Angouleme 30 mins, local town of Barbezieux with supermarkets, town markets, swimming pool and cinema, 10 mins. Famous Cognac town is just 35 mins, plus renowned Spa town of Jonzac with Thermal Baths, Therapeutic and swimming complex just 25 mins. Direct train access to Bordeaux airport, so fly in and rent a car! Entering Chez Lily’s private parking area, via a pretty garden, into an impressive lounge/2nd bedroom, with the kitchen and 2nd toilet/shower room on the same ground floor level, there is also a large, fully sprung 160cm bed settee (see photos). Ascending a unique spiral staircase to the first floor landing, opening onto a 33sqm bedroom with 160cm bed, with a separate walk-in wardrobe and en-suite shower/toilet. Also featuring a tv with Sky free to view channels. There is room for a cot which can be provided (see photos). Back on the ground floor, the 35sqm lounge leads onto a fully fitted kitchen with ample storage and includes an oven, a separate microwave oven, ceramic hob, fridge, bread maker, kettle, espresso coffee machine, plus numerous other appliances such as dishwasher, washing machine and extra fridge and freezer in a separate utility area, with room to store suitcases, baby buggies, bikes etc. The entire ground floor benefits from underfloor heating, with the unique ability to cool in summer to condition the interior temperatures. Also for those winter evenings, a wood burning stove to snuggle up to! A high speed fibre internet WiFi is free to use, including a bluetooth speaker, freesat tv in bedroom and lounge and an Amazon firestick giving you access to your Netflix account. The gite has a 4.3m circular, above ground pool in the garden (see photos) a larger, in-ground 6x4m replacement pool will be ready for use this summer vacation period 2024, (image of new pool is on the picture gallery). With a secluded relaxation, sunbathing and entertainment decked area, similar to the image. There is a private off-road parking, with an individual entrance to the property. Minimum 3 night lets, discount for lets above 1 week and longer. The property is suitable for up to 4 adults, alternatively 2 adults and 2-3 children. There is 1 main bedroom with an en-suite bathroom, the second double bed is a comfortable sofa-bed in the lounge, that needs to be deployed overnight if needed. There is also the possibility of additional fold-away single beds or a cot that can be placed in the large main bedroom or lounge, therefore children or infants can also be accommodated up to a suggested maximum of 2 to 3 (please contact us prior to booking). There is also the possibility of a further 3 double bedrooms in a second gite next to Chez Lily, increasing capacity to 10. Please contact us for further information. Rental cost are based on 3 individuals, additional people are chargeable. Children under the age of ten to a maximum of 2, will not be chargeable and a rebate will apply if charged by Airbnb (their charging structure doesn’t allow for child discounts).
