The apartment is just a stone's throw from Place Washington, where you'll find a mini-market, bakery, restaurants, wine cellar and bars. You'll be a 10-minute walk from Place de la République, the main square in downtown Le Mans. Opposite the apartment, you'll have direct access to the tramway and bus that will take you to the circuit, or to the city center via the train station, which is also within walking distance. There's a launderette right next door.
You can walk or take the streetcar directly from the station. Everything is within walking distance, and you can park your car for free in the streets around the accommodation and leave it there for the duration of your stay.
