David was the perfect host always available by phone and the place was more than we expected, the river house was just an added bonus. A beautiful and peaceful place for a quiet weekend. We wish we had more time to spend there. They keep the place immaculate and anything you could reasonably want for a great stay is available. We found a great steak house about a half hours drive called the Fleming Mountain Grill in Lynchburg the steaks are as good as Ruth Chris or Morton's. But back to the place we could not be more satisfied and will stay there again if we have the opportunity.

We travel quite frequently for youth sports and have stayed in many places over the years and this was by far our favorite place and experience! Breathtaking views and wonderful host who was just amazing!

David was an amazing host. He was so outgoing and answered all my questions to ensure our stay was an amazing one. He made sure he was accessible during our stay. The pictures do not at all do River Haven justice. The view from the back deck was so beautiful. It looked like something that should be on a postcard. Very picturesque and perfect spot to enjoy my morning coffee. We had such a relaxing time. The house was beautiful, spacious, and clean. The bedrooms felt large. The kitchedn was amazing and had everything we needed The river cabin was clean, cute, and rustic! We did not stay in the river cabin but we did spend time on the property when we spent time kayaking. We had a wonderful time relaxing, kayaking, and fishing. Our stay was great and I sure didn't want to leave. We will definitely try and book the River Haven again! Thank you, David and Nina, for opening up your beautiful house, cabin, and property to us! It really made our anniversary special!

The view is nothing short of spectacular at the mountain home and riverside location. Best view we’ve ever had at an air bnb - exquisite. The home is extremely well-stocked: condiments, spices, detergent, TP, etc. also, drawers and cabinets labeled. Also, a lot of care went into decorating/provisioning the home - lovely artwork, plenty of blankets, games and toys. Definitely plan to return.
