My stay in this property was, unfortunately, an unmitigated disaster from start to finish. It started with a whole week no heating in the apartment in the middle of winter, for which these ‘professional’ hosts failed to take any responsibility and refused to relocate me to any of their multiple available properties in the city. Other joys of this stay included noise starting at 4am from the bakery directly below the apartment whose delivery entrance is INSIDE the residential building, to the constant smell of weed from the bench directly below the bedroom window. The real deal-breaker is that the ‘comfortable bedding’ in the listing is, in fact a 99 euro open coil mattress from IKEA, the most uncomfortable thing I have ever slept on and the host categorically refused to replace it. This nightmare finally ended with a contentious early termination mediated by Airbnb and the host trying to charge me several thousand euros in penalties before finally backing down. Avoid at all costs.
