The location is wonderful. The Tipi was cute and had everything inside to be comfortable with. The owner was always kind and helpful. Although there were a few things we would like to highlight. For the wifi you need to be in the house salon. On the amenities listed when we booked said the oven was included, but once we arrived we were told it was an additional fee of €5, also same price if we wanted to cook. Most of the images match the place except for the little swimming pool that did not have maintenance and was not usable. The season was a bit cold but we did not have a hint in the description of the extra prices or the usage of the swimming pool. About the email for booking confirmation, we got the instructions saying we could do a check in at 8 am so arranged everything to be there around noon, but around. Noon we got a message saying we could do check in until 3 pm. The address on the location was wrong and we had to walk for 12 minutes with all our heavy luggage to find it

Evelyn welcomed us very kindly and she is a caring person. We asked for another blanket and she even asked if we need a heater as she was worried that it would be too cold for us. Communication was easy and clear, which I enjoyed. As already mentioned in an earlier review, the place is located at a main road and it is indeed quite a bit of traffic, even at night. With my earplugs I was ok, but for noise sensitive persons, might be good to know beforehand that it is not a quiet place. Even we did not booked the kitchen, we could use it since there were not many guests. This was very nice for coffee in the morning. Even though the tipi is a bit expensive, it was exactly what we needed. We booked at the same day as we arrived, because we wanted to leave the city, so it was super cozy sleeping in the tipi instead of a house. I am thankful that Evelyn was flexible to host us very spontaneously. The place is cutely decorated and the atmosphere is pleasant. We enjoyed our stay very much!

Our stay at the Tipi was okay. I understand it was the host’s birthday but felt we were neglected because of this. On arrival we were welcomed by another guest rather than our host and had to wait around for the key. I messaged to ask for the WiFi that is included and got no response so went our stay without. Check-in was at 15:00 but the tipi wasn’t then ready until after 18:00pm. We had to leave our luggage outside in the dirt all day, which then got covered in ants. On the first evening, the tipi was very dark. There was no outside lighting and the one light we had in the Tipi was very dull, not fit for even reading a book. There was a sign saying you had to pay 10 euros to use the cooker which I feel was very cheeky since it said it was included and one of the reasons we selected the place. We avoided using it. Although the place had potential, it didn’t live up to expectations or what was included in its description.

Very nice host, responsive and very friendly. The place is very clean including shared facilities. However, while on pictures Tipi looks like located in peaceful garden, in reality it’s few meters from the main road where traffic never stops. Luckily we had ear plugs to be able to sleep. Kitchen facilities and breakfast will be charged extra 12€ if needed.
