Susan’s place was immaculate would stay here time and time again when traveling in and out of deer lake with my family. She goes above and beyond and made us feel very comfortable. A home away from home.

I reviewed all the rules and wrote Susan before booking and explained I wanted to rent this as a surprise for my husbands birthday and that there would be us and a few other couples and we would be having drinks, listening to music and using the hot tub. I was told this was fine so I booked it. The day before arrival I received a message from Susan with additional rules not listed anywhere on the site including a cut off time for the hot tub at 9pm. By the time we got back from supper it was 8:45pm so we couldn’t get in. She also said that only guest were allowed in the apartment. Knowing that another couple were planning to stop by and visit us, I messaged her and asked if this was fine. She replied and said they could visit but not use the hot tub and proceeded to say that this rental was not for parties but a “relax and retreat”. If I had known of these additional rules and constraints I would not have booked it to begin with. I will say it is a beautiful spot and was very clean.

Susan’s exceptional property was more of a retreat than a place to stay. We were there for only a short stay and sadly couldn’t take full advantage of the amenities or that beautiful spa/pool. Thanks Susan.

By far the nicest Airbnb we have stayed at. Susan goes above and beyond to ensure that we have everything we need. The pictures don’t do it justice. Her home is clean and has everything you could possibly need during your stay! Her hospitality is second to none. We feel like we hit the jackpot! 10/10 would recommend!!
