This was the second time our family has stayed here. The house is perfect for us. It’s located close to Boulder for us to visit our daughter at CU. We also enjoyed walking the path behind the house and taking in the beautiful views of the Rocky Mountains in the background. James is a fantastic host and always very quick to respond to any of our questions. And very accommodating. I would encourage anyone visiting the area to stay here.

Everything you need for your Bolder-adjacent stay is here! A lovely little jem with a view that delights every morning. You have instant access to a walking path that takes you along the copper creek, mooing cows and curious prairie dogs. Clean, easy check in, and a strong coffee game :)

We loved our stay at Mountain Vista! The view outside the backyard was beautiful, we enjoyed the view while we drank our morning coffee. A perfect space to visit family and use as a base to explore Colorado from. This house had many conveniences like coffee, dish and laundry soup to name a few which really made our stay stress free. We will definitely try to stay here next time we come to town!

The house has been remodeled fairly recently so it feels new and updated yet it's in an established, modest and comfortable neighborhood just off a large Open Space and very easy access to walking/running/biking trails. The decor is interesting and tasteful; the entire home setting was so lovely and enjoyable. There was a welcome basket with snacks on the counter. Kitchen was extremely well-stocked. My parents and I cooked an entire Thanksgiving meal and I didn't have to bring many of my own cooking accessories. We loved the glassware, mug, and other beverage container selection. Two kinds of coffee makers. An updated, well-designed bathroom (though small, and only one, just keep that in mind for how many guests you have staying there), and very comfortable beds. The hosts were super responsive and very accomodating. It snowed the second day we were there and at 7am the next morning (day after Thanksgiving), James came and shoveled. That was fabulous hospitality and customer service!

If boho-mid century modern and western-rustic had a baby, it would be this Airbnb’s decor. I LOVED it. You could tell the hosts put a lot of thought and effort into every aspect of this place, from the artwork to the linens. James was super welcoming and responsive, even dropping off coffee when we ran out (yes there is a coffee maker). The neighborhood was quiet, and the view was stunning - mountains and cows grazing + surrounded by an open space. It’s a short drive from Waneka Lake Park, which is beautiful to walk around. My husband enjoyed playing the guitar there, too. Lastly, the outdoor space has a nice sitting area + is fenced. We would definitely stay here again!
